Day 16 04/21/2014 Inverting Differentiator

Class Note

By knowing the relationship of capacitor related to voltage  today we were ask to know what will happen base on Vin and Vout
As the result we see Vout will always reach the maximum.

Relationship of capacitor on voltage

Why Vout is reach maximum is "Noise make it stay saturated"

Inverting Differentiator

This Pre-lb required us to calculate the theoretical Vout from the op-amp when we supplied sinusoidal function of diff frequency.
Th sinusoidal function we supplied is amplitude of 1 V, offset 0 and frequency 1kHz, 2kHz, and 500Hz.

Below the the graph for each frequency

Graph of frequency 1kHz Vout = 1.228V

Graph of frequency 2kHz Vout  = 2.456V

Graph of frequency 500 Hz Vout=0.614V

The % error is then solve on this one

This one we then measure the time different between Vin and Vout

The time different is 0.355 ms we can then use its to calculate RC by applying to function Vout=RC dv/dt
